For investors

The trusted place for Muslim communities to buy from businesses that share their values.

Suq is at prototype stage. This page sets out what we are building, what exists today and what we still need to prove. Where a number is missing it is marked as a placeholder rather than invented.

The problem

Values-led buyers, scattered sellers.

1

Muslim buyers want to shop in line with their values, but Muslim-owned businesses are spread across general marketplaces, social feeds and word of mouth.

2

Verification is inconsistent. Halal and ownership claims are hard to check and easy to blur, so trust is carried by reputation alone.

3

Small vendors want the reach of live and social selling without building a storefront, a feed and a checkout themselves.

What Suq is

A halal social marketplace with commerce, content and live selling in one place.

Marketplace

Multi-vendor catalogue with region and category discovery and a single checkout split per vendor.

Storefronts

No-code storefront builder with three themes rendered from one component set.

Social and stories

A feed of vendor, product and creator posts with product tagging, plus ephemeral stories.

Live selling

Scheduled live rooms with reminders, chat and add to cart without leaving the room.

Creators

Campaigns, tracked links and commission estimates for affiliates and influencers.

Onboarding and moderation

Vendor application with ownership attestation and halal policy acceptance, admin review, and a report queue with an audit log.

How it works

Trust is earned in three steps.

01

Vendors apply and attest

A business confirms it is majority Muslim-owned and accepts the halal content policy before it can list anything.

02

Suq admin reviews

Approval grants the vendor role and the Verified badge. Rejections and suspensions are logged.

03

Buyers shop with confidence

Discover, follow, watch live and check out once across every store in the cart.
